Here are some pictures taken during the Force of Nature Concert, as promised.

Taken on our way to the stadium. We were already late yet still have time to take picture,what lah! Thanks to the ever photography-"talented", self conscious and vain cousin of mine,miss su ann.She was snapping her own pixtures all the way there man. I guess the memory card was half loaded with her face! Hey sista, the concert have not even begun.

You see this picture is upside down. Well thanks to the ever talented photographer that claims that pictures are better taken vertically. Haha. And I'm just too lazy to edit it. So have fun turning your head.

She told me not to post her picture anywhere (which can be accessed by the public) but who gives a damn, she's not gonna know. And one more thing, she has a fabulous sense of direction! We were already late and she could confidently lead me to The Bukit Jalil FAMILY PARK,which are miles away from the concert stadium that we're supposed to be at.LolZ!

This was how the stage looks. Nice designs but bad PA system. But it got better after 2,3 performances.

Haha this was initially my view,SO small! If you are wondering who's this on stage, it's Lauryn Hill.

Look how phenomenal the concert was. Look at the people. Wow, all Malaysians have good hearts, for once.

I'm thinking now "aam i really short?" "and is that a problem?". It has never been an issue for me seriously until ppl throw me critics these days and i sometimes realise the desperate need of being tall.Because, you see, when you're short you're unnoticeable, ppl push u away very easily and short ppl cant control the crowd :(

But afterall, I'm still proud to be me regardlesss that i am short. It's not that i look very bad wut! Short short lah!

So once in a while, I would look at short celebrities to make me feel better. They'tr short but they're smart, they're beautiful, they're successful and most importantly they're successful!

Here are some short, but beautiful celebrities

Avril Lavigne: If it is not because of her height, you think i'll like her so much?

Jennifer Love Hewitt: Don't tell me she's not hot! Check out Enrique Iglesias' vid. Short ppl can be hot too!

Kylie Minogue: Gosh the sexiest short woman I've ever seen. She's only 5' tall. Her body is getting hotter and hotter each day. Hm... very motivating.

Paula Malai Ali: She's Channel V's VJ and she's short.so what does it proove? You're Short but you can still be a VJ!

Hilary Duff: Short but so prreettty!!! Eh even Joel Maden can fall for her.

Christina Aguilera: Small body but great vocals.Not only fat ppl are sopranos, short n skinny ppl are eligible too. She's a M.A.C. ambassador. If you're short but capable, who's not proud to be short?

Lucy Liu: Short and yet a Charlie's Angel. Not bad.

Last but not least.... my favourite celebrity....

Miss Yvonne How: OH k she's not a celebrity. But SHE IS to me! She's Short but she has a brilliant brain, good leadership..beautiful and inspirational.She'll be the woman version of Hitler in the future (short but brainful).

i'm a force of nature...

the concert was a-ight! not VERY massive and VERY kick ass but it was ALL good,was ALL for a good course.sneaking in to the VIPs was really courageous of me.and for the first time,i get to meet so many artiste within a night. alright first was paula abdul with a sweet speech of hers. funny when everybody on the top was figuring out,who the hell is talking (coz her face wasnt shown on the projector at first) and only when she claimed "i'm paula abdul" then ppl only started cheering and clapping. but anywayz, she wore a very nice dress.

the show starts off with lauryn hill.she wore a very ladylike blue blouse with a long dark coloured skirt.she's got nice permed hair and wore this big pair of golden earrings. despite her being a multi grammy winner, i don't listen to her songs.i remember it was 1999 when she was really famous(winning grammys and all). i know it's very shameful to say that because her songs are what you call true music and its really soulful. now i know why they call camile velasco the young lauryn hill. she did a few songs acoustic. the ones i remembered her singing were erm.. ex-factor, that thing and nothing even matters. she sang 6 songs, roughly. and i was hoping her to sing her version of "can't my eyes of you"..but she didn't.

VE and Innuendo takes the stage and they performed together this dance song.they looked really charming,all dressed in white."Belaian Jiwa" took the crowd's attention and VE became the background singers. They left the stage introducing Shiela Majid. I think they had very bad speaker system. the sound were everywhere. but as soon as Shiela Majid sings, you would hear her clear vocals. the song that got everyone dancing was a famous hit of hers, "sinaran".

After a few songs,Anuar Zain joined her,singing "ikhlas tapi jauh". Dayang Nurfaizah appeared later singing the second verse. Then VE and Innuendo reappear and altogether they put up an unforgettable closing act. their attires was really matching; nice colour tones of white and orange. Remember, i said the guys were dressed in white and the two divas were dressed in nice orange gowns.so their attires really matches the 'force of nature' logo colour scheme, heh!

We were feeling not satisfied watching in a distance. And that's when we thought of sneaking to the front.And that's when I met Lina Teoh,Elaine Daly and some other celebrities.And that's when i feel that i'm really short! Managed to talk to the friendly celebrities as we wait for the next performance. Man,Lina Teoh has really warm hands. Nearly burn mine with that hand shake.

So who performed next? Boyz II Men lo. BUT they used to have 4 members right? only 3 appeared. i heard yesterday was the first time they ever performed in Msia and they've done very nice Boyz II Men classics like "end of the road" "on bended knees" "i'll make love to you" "mama"(that's when everyone starts calling their mothers on the cell phone) they made the atmosphere really romantic! elaine daly was beside me,having a good time with her boyfriend. so sweeeet!

The night continued with performances by erm...Ruth Sanhanaya from Indonesia it seems she sang an eng-malay medley.i remember her singing "aku cinta padamu" then this black guy..whose name is "eric benet" joined her dueting a song. the continued performing some catchy songs while Ruth went back stage.

Next is the MASTER! WYCLEF JEAN!! His performance started with a DJ mix of a few famous hip hop dance tracks and he blew the stage with his top charting hits (don't really know the titles though). then he did some fantastic guitar solos! CUN sial, his guitar is sparkling silver!AND he's the only artirste who came down to the crowd! Then Lauryn Hill reappeared doing a reunion Fugees peformances singing their Fugees songs like "ready or not" blah blah blah (i dont know the rest) But i have to tell you Wyclef Jean is a king man! Very good showmanship he has.. and the crowd loves him! you'll not get bored, unlike performances by yumiko and nicholas tse.

The crowd needs to be toned down. So they called out Nicholas Tse and Yumiko Cheng whose performances, no offence, were the most unentertaining of all ( hey even Malaysians and Indonesians beat them la ). Don't know, maybe many ppl still find their performances pretty entertaining but i find it rather, lame. HEHE (sorry la nicholas, i shouted your name so loudly..y din answer?)But let me tell you, in person to me, he's not really the guy i would go ga-ga over like what you see on TV. Man on TV he's like the great prince of the great HK, sth like Taiwan's Jay Chou,but no la..... he's just another guy. Enough of critics or not he'll hire ppl to burn down my house.Yeah, and before that Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh made and appearance to talk about the need of contributing and stuff like that. Oh as usual Jackie is with his white chinese suit, like on tv but Michelle Yeoh,i find her ellegant although she wore this "ORANGE" striking,glittering top. BUT wooosh, she's HOT, quite la. Lucky her,she's marrying a rich man.Jackie Chan also sang.Nice...

So who hasn't performed? You can almost hear everyone whispering "pss...pss... backstreet boys... pss.. when are they coming out?" Out of no where, Soong Ai Ling and the BEEEAAUUUTTIIFFUULLL Camelia dashed out from the curtains "WHO's UP FOR BACKSTREET BOYS?!" then again the crowd started cheering. And I was having my best view already until these few Malay girls pushed me to the side and everyone started pushing me behind. That's the time when i felt sick for being SHORT! eh? cannot let short ppl some privellege is it? THEN as they push me behind, I met Tinesh. Was about to ask him to carry me up, so i dont have to keep tip toeing. GOSH so pathetic la.

I was really excited watching the BSB,really, despite being one typical boy band. WEI so what?! Come on, after so many years (11 years to be exact) of worshipping the BSB,watching their vids over n over again, collecting their merchandise (postcards, cassettes, video tapes,posters,stickers,etc) i am finally getting to watch them perform live! And i REALLY took a good look on each and every of them and thinking "wow i used to like nick and then i like howie better and now i like AJ" so it's like reminiscing the days when i used to go ga-ga over them like truly madly deeply. i even dreamt of marrying AJ. My goodness! But how come i never like kevin or brian yea? Because they're married lah durh! Lolz! Overall, their performances are VERY BSB, VERY BOYBAND! good! they stick to the original.if you were thinking of what they were wearing? It's like what they wore in the "All I have to give" video. It's very close-identical white suits, white hat etc.

The closing act kicks ASS! The BLACK EYED PEAS! no ITS FERGIE THE GREAT! Nobody in the hip hop industry could beat her. She beaaats everyone flat. Her vocals are power, her booty shaking is power, her body is power....ahhhhh...i'm out of words to describe how GREAT the BEP are. You have to witness it yourself.I'm glad i did.

The concert ends at about 3.We drove home for some roti canai and slept til 11 in the morning.

i am becoming very emotional. first, MARIO VAZQUEZ pulled out from the competition due to some so called "personal reasons". BUT WHY?! the show's not happening anymore. they all sung like shit yesterday. COZ MARIO'S NOT THERE! Man he could have be the american idol winner if he stays. lucky nikko smith he gets to replace mario and be one of the top 12! ARRRGGGGGG....THE COMPETITION HAS NOT EVEN BEGUN! and he left! so overall (including auditions) i've only heard him sang 4 songs (whatever happens, do i do, i love music and how can you mend a broken heart....and THAT's IT!) sad lar

and just moments ago, i met this dumb fierce freak who blast me. he got me look so dumb!

alright, here is how it happens.we were on out way to the college cafeteria for lunch and then we saw this really nice booths and they're supposed to be booths set up to promote their clubs and inviting ppl for registration. then this particular booth (i think its the scuba diving club or something) caught our eyes. coz they have these very nice fonts decorating the booths. then the ppl caught us looking at them. so this MAN, who was one of the ppl there, he showed me some hand gestures,asking us to come take a look. as soon as we got there, he asked "are you international students?" well "no" i replied quickly

then he was explaining "aggresively" about what they're doing and stuff.and it seems that they're having this movie week for the international students. and before he could finish, i politely said " erm.. sorry we're heading for lunch, we'll come back after that,yea?"

so i thought he'll let us go with a SMILE. but guess what he say? "so u think buying lunch is important than buying a movie ticket?!" for a moment i thought he was kidding. perhaps putting a prank on me.come on,what a dumb question that is! and it made me go like "HUH?" for a while, COZ HE'S LOOKING SO FIERCESOME! i was sorta speechless, but i knew i had to answer his question. so i was like "yeah..."

he paused for a moment,showing a disappointed face at me and he looked really fierce. hey! wtf? its as if he'sasking me "is buying lunch more important than saving someone's life"if i answered "yes"..then,it's more reasonable for you to react to me that way-lah!

he made me look like i've done the greatest sin on earth. like im some hopeless freak. he shoed me off.

man, im really puzzled! is he drunk or what? its not like the greatest sin that ive done for choosing lunch over a movie ticket right?! wtf!?

oh its almost two.got some tutorials to be done before class starts. see ya

am i getting dumb and dumberer each day? please don't tell me i am! i felt like i'm a bit slow lately. gosh! if i don't buck up, its serious shit for me! right on my face! i guess i've been mocking alot of guys lately... been saying that they're brainless and all.. shit..and that's why..

but yeah! they ARE brainless,some of them! especially those with good looks. well i'm not here to intimidate anyone but you can tell by one or two conversations with them.

tell you what. one day, at the gym, my cousin was looking all over for a rubber band desperately to tie her hair coz she's sweating like a pig and all. then she dashed quickly to the counter where all the personal trainers hang around.then she asked the cutest one among them all; this mix lad who looks alil like mario vazquez(ya know that kinda guy with dark skin,curly hair and nice features)for a rubber band. and guess what he said.. he said "i'm sorry, we don't provide rubber band" when you're expecting him to search for one for u,maybe in his stationery case or something-lah! gosh! you call this professionalism or pure dumbness? so eversince then,the attraction and charm that i see in him has been washed away just like that. i mean just like that... so you see how important smartness is to a guy,despite having looks that kill, i mean despite him looking like johnny depp!

aih, don't wanna mock anymore! coz im feeling im stupid myself already! gotta buck up! shit! i havent finish ms menon's cashflow! she's gonna yell at us tmr! blog later.

When i read my previous blog entry which was JANUARY tenth's(wow that is long!), I am just laughing it off! HAHA WHO SAYS I've lost myself!! That's so JANUARY. It's MARCH now sista! And I'm whole again!

Things have been really working out for me, i see brighter sun(although its a little bit too hot), i see nicer smiles(denteen is advertised pretty well you see) & better stuffs to look forward to.Everything's so whoa!

I've been looking forward to alot of things lately ;). Been running the treadmill, cycling alot... aiming to become physically fitter than usual to participate in more adventorous stuffs! You'll see me climbing Mount KK and appearing on TV for the Amazing Race in a few years time. I'm not kidding, i REALLY want to do it!

Well,exercising is one thing. The other so called "interesting" thing I've been doing is none other than, glueing my eyes to the TV for AMERICAN IDOL season 4.I'm very addicted. I can spend my week without american idol. MARIO VAZQUEZ melts me,the way he sings. Anybody heard his version of 'how can u mend a broken heart?'? whoa it was <3 <3 <3

AND i've got a new hair! I've been "reasearching" alot on ways to style my hair and that keeps me excited for having a hairstyle that looks different everyday. MAN i have to say that i'm bored with my straight hair,despite having it coloured and highlighted.

I have even been looking forward to MS MENON's class! CAN you believe it?while others are complaining their butts off! I have to say this, SHE'S A WONDER WOMAN. I believe she thinks we're all very ignorant of her contribution towards us.How i wish she knows... i mean how i wish i could put up a big banner in class which reads "MS MENON YOU'RE A SUPER WOMAN" while she teaches.Well i dont dare to show my appreciation now coz she might pin point me in class and ASK me many many questions. SO i decided to cut the unnecessary attention-lah.The reason why i look up to her is not only that she's a 100% dedicated lecturer, but as a person, she has very firm grounds, she knows what he principles are and she expects her to follow them, and expects US to follow them too! hehe! Man! in the future, i must write a book about her-lah! A single blog entry will not be enough to help me potray how REALLY inspired i am! A book will... OR maybe i'll make a film! A trilogy like LOTRs! MUAHAHAH... whoa she has opened doors for me, widen my career opportunities!

the tsunami bazaar at HELP was great. Met juwito sowito and K TOWN CLAN man!! ya know i think malaysians have so much potential in the music industry. i dont think they need to change, what needs to be changed is THE MINDS OF THE MALAYSIAN. why cant we listen to malaysian music? when i was in the auditorium listening to original malaysian music, i was jumping jumping! i'm so attached to every single beat and i felt SO PROUD! whilst my cousin who only listens to INTERNATIONAL music, he barely move nor cheer.his looks on his face tells me that they're just a bunch of junks.when u have the passion for music, it doesnt matter where u come from. well as long as u make good music! so i made a point to myself, i do not have to perform at the GRAND-est place, well just as long as i performed well, i do not have to be ashamed.

suddenly i've lost myself again hmm.. eversince college started. I never want to follow the flow of how dead the course it but i can't help it. No, that doesn't mean I'm giving up yet cause hey! this is what I will be doing for the rest of my life man! well ok life has to go on and erm it isn't too bad to pump pressure to the brains. after all if our brains stop working then, that's it!

Besides watching a couple of DVDs, I've been swtiching to CNN for more aftershock and survival stories. They actually did an overview of Sumatera;before and after the Tsunami and they showed how the island is eaten by the waves.So terrifying.

We have alot of fun stuff planned tmr for eve but due to the celebration cancellation,most ppl choose to stay at home instead.Very good though,it shows that Malaysians are not so ignorant after all! heh! And we truly sympathize what had happened to our neighbours.Not just that, we don't have the celebration mood there anyway.

Nothing else that i'm going to talk about but the tsunami strike. the death toll has soar up to 82000 and and to be predicted to reach 100,000! the earthquake in sumatera has caused many many lives including 66 lives in Malaysia - those who were vacation-ing in the other affected islands whose lives are being swept away by the killer waves, an unforseen disaster.

And just this morning that the Prime Minister has made an annoucement indicating the planned new year celebrations whether aired on tv, fireworks to be displayed or to-be-held-celebrities-concerts are to be cancelled. He said we should be praying for the victims instead, which is very true.

Not only people in Asia are affected, many Westerners are still missing and no where to be found, a thousand over Swedish tourists approximately. Bad enough that people witness their family being swept away by the water.

With 80,789 dead, rotting corpses, smashed sewers, contaminated water and a lack of food and shelter, along with mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever and malaria, could wipe out weakened survivors in their tens of thousands.

It has 'impacted' many lives.Although we are not 'physically' affected by the waves, but spiritually and mentally, we are. So contribute if you may. Look for orgainisations where you may donate to help them lead better lives. Otherwise, pray for them at least. Think of the needs of the victims ; they're homeless without any means of communication to search for their missing loved ones, they're jobless (people who live by the shore especially) and others may suffer from or die of hunger unless aid reaches on time- they've lost everything.

whoa the headache is still here. didn't dry my hair thoroughly that night as i was too sleepy and tired after driving everyone home and cleaning myself at 5 am. oh boi! but it was all worthwhile! but how could i not thought of the chaos! we've been celebrating there every year. durh! bbgs is all about tradition anyway. so next time don't wear heels! actually i thought about it! but it's heartache wearing my adidas to war right? oh whatever so i thought footache is better than heartache.. haha! and BIG MISTAKE puisan!

the next day was really funny. my whole body couldn't even move an inch man. i'm like a mummified puisan. the heel part was painful and muscle aching everywhere. what does that prove? partying is a good exercise huh?

the countdown celebration is almost like war,believe it or not.i got soap sprayed directly on my face so many times by a bunch of unknown guys and i couldn't even identify who they are! socalled fortunate that hoong tze came to save me and divert their attention. and we kept 'paging' for the rest of the girls for back ups. and they are no where to be found. oh they were getting more ammos! i think we'd better have strategies better planned!

so what are we waiting for? we're so ready for new year! get some suitable clothes to wear!

oh and u have no idea what kinda war and chaos i'm taking about. come to bukit bintang for the countdown-new year's eve celebration! hope to see you there! happy new year! and make more resolutions!
